She is an inside dog, but loves to run and play outside in a fenced yard.

Apply for adoption by filling out adoption form: Application for Adoption.

Distemper/Parvol shots and de-wormers are up to date. $150.

There are still many other dogs needing homes. Right now we don't have foster homes, so that limits our ability to rescue them.

If you are willing to wait for us to bring in a suitable dog for you, we will do so.

FOSTER HOME INFO:

Here are the basic requirements for fostering with K9CAR:
  • You will need a fenced yard;
  • If living in a condo, you must have written permission from the owner, and be able to take the dog outside several times daily;
  • Preferably someone will always able to be home with the dog;
  • A home where the dog will be allowed to be one of the family
    • able to sleep in the same room as you, if he needs to;
    • interact with you whether you are inside or out;
    • go for car rides and outings.
  • The knowledge:
    • that a dog cannot be left alone with children or pets until you know it is trustworthy;
    • that a dog does not need corporal punishment or loud sharp words, but responds most effectively to love, and if needed, gentle reprimands;
    • that the dog may be scared (especially of men) as it has been mistreated, and needs a lot of patient love;
  • Daily walks for exercise and socialization;
  • Preferably a home where carefully screened people may come to meet the dog prior to adoption.
