-Many dogs have already died in agony this spring due to distemper and Coccidiosis. The first signs of distemper seem to be mild eye inflammation.

The season that kills dogs up to 2 years old is now upon us, and we have not been able give those who have immature immune systems the prevention needed. We need your financial support.

-NOVA –TRIMEL ($10.) for Coccidiosis is available to save the dogs on the reservation from a terrible death, but most people will not have the money to pay for it when needed. Also the distemper /parvol vaccine, if given within 4 days of coming into contact with a diseased dog, can be saved. Please donate.

The disease Coccidiosis, (symptoms similar to distemper) reaches plague proportions in this community each spring and on through the fall season. Every dog must have access to clean drinking water with Amporal drops added. One treatment of Amporal costs only $2.00; a jug of Amporal costs $180 and would take care of the whole reservation for at least a year. Huge rubber dishes are also needed to hold the water for communal drinking.
